On April 18, 2025, Lagos was flooded with color, sound, and unstoppable feminine energy as Femme Fest 2025 takes over Muri Okunola Park. Thousands of young women arrived, draped in vibrant prints, bold makeup, and limitless confidence—for what became one of West Africa’s most powerful celebrations of African womanhood. Powered by Femme Africa, this year’s edition—“Wonderland”—transformed the park into a dreamy, electric space bursting with music, creativity, fashion, and community. From 2 PM to 11 PM, the entire atmosphere was radiated in an air of excitement. But this won’t just be another festival. It a living, breathing space where African women lead the narrative on stage, in art, in conversation, and commerce. The day featured live performances from some of the continent’s most exciting talents, immersive experience zones, a vibrant vendor village filled with women-led businesses, and the highly anticipated School of Femme panels and workshops.
